I know this is a little late, but we were chosen to participate in The Big Fake Wedding that took place at the W Hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta, this past Sunday. For those of you who aren't familiar with The Big Fake Wedding, it isn't your typical boring bridal expo. Instead of wandering around cavernous spaces full of vendor tables and listening to endless pitches, guests attend an actual vow renewal ceremony and reception. They get to eat, party, and meet the professionals that pulled it all off in a relaxed atmosphere that is meant to inspire their own weddings and encourage collaboration between vendors. The marvelous ladies at TBFW work tirelessly to throw these events in many cities across the country, so whether you are planning your wedding or a vendor looking for new ways to reach out to potential clients (and make new friendors!), I definitely encourage you to check them out. There was some seriously amazing talent on hand and I ended my night full of new ideas for my clients and excited about all the wonderful connections I made. I can't wait to see the photos and videos and share them with you!
